What is MICE?
MICE is an acronym for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions. This type of tourism brings together several people (usually more than 9) in one place to attend an event. This event does not have to be corporate, it can be social or even family oriented. It’s common to choose destinations with beaches, skiing or even places that are culturally different like Southern Asia or the Middle East. Adding a location component helps to break the mould of traditional events, allows participants to pair work with leisure and motivates employees to develop bonds with co-workers and the company itself.
